J C Rathod is the senior most partner at J C Rathod & Co. and a driving force of the JCR Group. He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountant of India (ICAI) with more than 25 years of extensive experience as a practicing Chartered Accountant (CA) in Pune. He has skills in tax planning, developing tax efficient strategies and representing before revenue and appellate authorities. He has contributed significantly to the organisation through his specialized skills on assignments with many reputed clients in diverse industries.

Mr Rathod has served as a past president of Saras Junior Chambers, Pune Chapter and is actively involved in various society-related work in Pune.

Darshan Rathod heads the Advisory practice at J C Rathod & Co. Darshan also helps develop and manage the firm's relationships with various players in the ecosystem. Darshan has a passion for numbers and a keen interest in entrepreneurship. Following his father's footsteps, he began his career as a chartered accountant. He holds a masters degree in Commerce from the University of Pune and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, both of which were accorded with distinction. Darshan is also an alumni of XLRI Jamshedpur, where he did his MBA in Finance. He was honoured with the OP Jindal Management Scholarship at XLRI Jamshedpur.

Darshan had earlier garnered diverse experience with various MNCs such as RREEF (Deutsche Bank Real Estate Private Equity), Ernst & Young (E&Y) and PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).

Sanjay Jagtap handles the Sales Tax and VAT practice at J C Rathod & Co. He completed his DTL and GDC&A courses as well as Masters in Commerce from Pune University. Sanjay has more than 15 years of experience in this field and has specialized in the areas of sales tax and VAT.

Sanjay has an expertise in handling issues involving classification, valuation, applicability of taxes on transactions and admissibility to tax benefits / exemptions. He also has capabilities in giving opinions on other indirect tax issues, providing innovative tax planning ideas, making appeals and submissions before appellate authorities.
